दुनिया के सात आश्चर्य

*दुनिया के 7 आश्चर्य*

गाँव के स्कूल में पढने वाली छुटकी आज बहुत खुश थी, उसका दाखिला शहर के एक अच्छे  स्कूल में क्लास 6 में हो गया था।

आज स्कूल का पहला दिन था और वो समय से पहले ही तैयार हो कर बस का इंतज़ार कर रही थी। बस आई और छुटकी बड़े उत्साह के साथ उसमे सवार हो गयी।

करीब 1 घंटे बाद जब बस स्कूल पहुंची तो सारे बच्चे उतर कर अपनी-अपनी क्लास में जाने लगे…छुटकी भी बच्चों से पूछते हुए अपनी क्लास में पहुंची।

क्लास के बच्चे गाव से आई इस लडकी को देखकर उसका मजाक उड़ाने आगे।

“साइलेंस!”, टीचर बोली, “ चुप हो जाइए आप सब…”

“ये छुटकी है, और आज से ये आपके साथ ही पढेगी।”

उसके बाद टीचर ने बच्चों को सरप्राइज टेस्ट के लिए तैयार होने को कह दिया।

“चलिए, अपनी-अपनी कॉपी निकालिए और जल्दी से “दुनिया के 7 आश्चर्य लिख डालिए।”, टीचर ने निर्देश दिया।

सभी बच्चे जल्दी जल्दी उत्तर लिखने लगे, छुटकी भी धीरे-धीरे अपना उत्तर लिखने लगी।

जब सबने अपनी कॉपी जमा कर दी तब टीचर ने छुटकी से पूछा, “क्या हुआ बेटा, आपको जितना पता है उतना ही लिखिए, इन बच्चों को तो मैंने कुछ दिन पहले ही दुनिया के सात आश्चर्य बताये थे।”

“जी, मैं तो सोच रही थी कि इतनी सारी चीजें हैं…इनमे से कौन सी सात चीजें लिखूं….”, छुटकी टीचर को अपनी कॉपी थमाते हुए बोली।

टीचर ने सबकी कापियां जोर-जोर से पढनी शुरू कीं.. ज्यादातर बच्चों ने अपने उत्तर सही दिए थे…

टीचर खुश थीं कि बच्चों को उनका पढ़ाया याद था। बच्चे भी काफी उत्साहित थे और एक दुसरे को बधाई दे रहे थे…

अंत में टीचर ने छुटकी की कॉपी उठायी, और उसका उत्तर भी सबके सामने पढना शुरू किया….

छुटकी के उत्तर सुन पूरी क्लास में सन्नाटा छा गया। टीचर भी आवाक खड़ी थी….

आज गाँव से आई एक बच्ची ने उन सभी को भगवान् के दिए उन अनमोल तोहफों का आभास करा दिया था जिनके तरफ उन्होंने कभी ध्यान ही नहीं दिया था!

*सचमुच , गहराई से सोचा जाए तो हमारी ये देखने… सुनने… सोचने… समझने… जैसी शक्तियां किसी आश्चर्य से कम नहीं हैं, ऐसे में ये सोच कर दुखी होने ने कि बजाये कि हमारे पास क्या नहीं है हमें ईश्वर के दिए इन अनमोल तोहफों के लिए शुक्रगुजार होना चाहिए और जीवन की छोटी-छोटी बातों में छिपी खुशियों को मिस नहीं करना चाहिए।*

The 90/10 Principle says, " 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react "

What does this mean?

We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. You determine the other 90%. How? By your reaction.

You cannot control a red light, but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example.

You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of milk onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened. What happens next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your wife and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus.
You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. After a 15-minute delay you arrive at school. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your wife and daughter.

Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the cup of hot milk cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did you cause it?

The answer is C

You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, getting stressed out etc.

The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle. The result? Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. Next time you react to any situation, remember the 90-10 principle.

चयन अनमोल धरोहर का

बिटिया बड़ी हो गयी, एक रोज उसने बड़े सहज भाव में अपने पिता से पूछा - "पापा, क्या मैंने आपको कभी रुलाया" ?

पिता ने कहा -"हाँ "

उसने बड़े आश्चर्य से पूछा - "कब" ?

पिता ने बताया - 'उस समय तुम करीब एक साल की थीं, घुटनों पर सरकती थीं।
मैंने तुम्हारे सामने पैसे, पेन और खिलौना रख दिया क्योंकि मैं ये देखना चाहता था कि, तुम तीनों में से किसे उठाती हो तुम्हारा चुनाव मुझे बताता कि, बड़ी होकर तुम किसे अधिक महत्व देतीं।
जैसे पैसे मतलब संपत्ति, पेन मतलब बुद्धि और खिलौना मतलब आनंद।

मैंने ये सब बहुत सहजता से लेकिन उत्सुकतावश किया था क्योंकि मुझे सिर्फ तुम्हारा चुनाव देखना था।
तुम एक जगह स्थिर बैठीं टुकुर टुकुर उन तीनों वस्तुओं को देख रहीं थीं।
मैं तुम्हारे सामने उन वस्तुओं की दूसरी ओर खामोश बैठा बस तुम्हें ही देख रहा था।

तुम घुटनों और हाथों के बल सरकती आगे बढ़ीं, मैं अपनी श्वांस रोके तुम्हें ही देख रहा था और क्षण भर में ही तुमने तीनों वस्तुओं को आजू बाजू सरका दिया और उन्हें पार करती हुई आकर सीधे मेरी गोद में बैठ गयीं।

मुझे ध्यान ही नहीं रहा कि, उन तीनों वस्तुओं के अलावा तुम्हारा एक चुनाव मैं भी तो हो सकता था।

आखिर बेटी तो बेटी ही होती है भगवान की दी हुई सबसे अनमोल धरोहर है बेटी!!!!!

A woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground at West Coast park one fine Sunday Morning.

"That's my son over there" she said, pointing to a little boy in a red T-shirt who was gliding down the slide.

"He's a fine looking boy," the man said. "That's my son on the swing in the blue T-shirt."

Then, looking at his watch, he called to his son.

"What do you say we go, Jack?"

Jack pleaded, "Just five more minutes, Dad. Please?" "Just five more minutes."

The man nodded and Jack continued to swing to his heart's content. Minutes passed and the father stood and called again to his son. "Time to go now?"

Again Jack pleaded, "Five more minutes, Dad.

Just five more minutes." The man smiled and said, "O.K."

"My, you certainly are a patient father," the woman responded.

The man smiled and then said, "My older son John was killed by a drunk driver last year while he was riding his bike near here. I never spent much time with John and now I'd give anything for just five more minutes with him. I've vowed not to make the same mistake with Jack.

He thinks he has five more minutes to swing. The truth is, I get Five more minutes to watch him play."

Life is not a race.

Life is all about making Priorities.

What are your priorities?

Give someone you love, 5 more minutes of your time no matter how busy you are and you will have no regret forever.

Once you have lost it, shall be lost Forever...

Life can only be understood backwards; But it must be Lived forwards.

People ask me why do good when all we receive is bad.. Here is the answer?

A 6 yr old boy was in the market with his 4 yr old sister........
Suddenly the boy found that his sister was lagging behind.

He stopped and looked back. His sister was standing in front of a toy shop and was watching something with great interest.

The boy went back to her and asked,
"Do you want something ?" The sister pointed at the doll.
The boy held her hand and like a responsible elder brother, gave that doll to her. The sister was very very happy...

The shopkeeper was watching everything and getting amused to see the matured behaviour of the boy...

Now the boy came to the counter and asked the shopkeeper,

"What is the cost of this doll, Sir !"

The shopkeeper was a cool man and had experienced the odds of life. So he asked the boy with a lot of love n affection,"

Well, What can you pay ?"

The boy took out all the shells that he had collected from sea shore, from his pocket and gave them to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper took the shells and started counting as if he were counting the currency. Then he looked at the boy.The boy asked him worriedly,"Is it less ?

" The shopkeeper said," No,No...

These are more than the cost. So I will return the remaining." Saying so,he kept only 4 shells with him and returned the remaining.
The boy, very happily kept those shells back in his pocket and went away with his sister...

A servant in that shop got very surprised watching all these. He asked his master," Sir ! You gave away such a costly doll just for 4 shells ???

"The shopkeeper said with a smile," Well, For us these are mere shells.
But for that boy, these shells are very precious. And at this age he does not understand what money is, but when he will grow up, he definitely will.
And when he would remember that he purchased a doll with the Shells instead of Money, he will remember Me and think that world is full of Good people.

It will help him develop a positive attitude and he too in turn will feel motivated to be Good !

Realize you are a very powerful source of energy.

"एक समय था जब मैं व्यापार जगत की ऊंचाईयों को छू चुका था। लोगों की नजर में मेरी जिंदगी सफलता का एक बड़ा नमूना बन चुकी थी। लेकिन आज खुद को बेहद बीमार और इस बिस्तर पर पड़ा हुआ देखकर मैं कुछ अजीब महसूस कर रहा हूं।

पूरी जिंदगी मैंने कड़ी मेहनत की, लेकिन खुद को खुश करने के लिए या खुद के लिए समय निकालना जरूरी नहीं समझा। जब मुझे कामयाबी मिली तो मुझे बेहद गर्व महसूस हुआ, लेकिन आज मौत के इतने करीब पहुंचकर वह सारी उपलब्धियां फीकी लग रही हैं।
आज इस अंधेरे में, इन मशीनों से घिरा हुआ हूं। मैं मृत्यु के देवता को अपने बेहद करीब महसूस कर सकता हूं।

आज मन में एक ही बात आ रही है कि इंसान को जब यह लगने लगे कि उसने अपने भविष्य के लिए पर्याप्त कमाई कर ली है, तो उसे अपने खुद के लिए समय निकाल लेना चाहिए। और पैसा कमाने की चाहत ना रखते हुए, खुद की खुशी के लिए जीना शुरू कर देना चाहिए।

अपनी कोई पुरानी चाहत पूरी करनी चाहिए। बचपन का कोई अधूरा शौक, जवानी की कोई ख्वाहिश या फिर कुछ भी ऐसा जो दिल को तसल्ली दे सके। किसी ऐसे के साथ वक्त बिताना चाहिए जिसे आप खुशी दे सकें और बदल में उससे भी वही हासिल कर सकें।

क्योंकि जो पैसा सारी जिंदगी मैंने कमाया उसे मैं साथ लेकर नहीं जा सकता। अगर मैं कुछ लेकर जा सकता हूं तो वे हैं यादें। ये यादें ही तो हमारी ‘अमीरी’ होती है, जिसके सहारे हम सुकून की मौत पा सकते हैं।

क्योंकि ये यादें और उनसे जुड़ा प्यार ही एकमात्र ऐसी चीज है जो मीलों की सफर तय करके आपके साथ जा सकती हैं। आप जहां चाहे इसे लेकर जा सकते हैं। जितनी ऊंचाई पर चाहें ये आपका साथ दे सकती हैं। क्योंकि इन पर केवल आपका हक़ है।

जीवन के इस मोड़ पर आकर मैं बहुत कुछ महसूस कर सकता हूं। जीवन में अगर कोई सबसे महंगी वस्तु है, तो वह शायद ‘डेथ बेड’ ही है। क्योंकि आप पैसा फेंककर किसी को अपनी गाड़ी का ड्राइवर बना सकते हैं। जितने मर्जी नौकर-चाकर अपनी सेवा के लिए लगा सकते हैं। लेकिन इस डेथ बेड़ पर आने के बाद कोई दिल से आपको प्यार करे, आपकी सेवा करे, यह चीज आप पैसे से नहीं खरीद सकते।

आज मैं यह कह सकता हूं कि हम जीवन के किसी भी मोड़ पर क्यों ना हों, उसे अंत तक खूबसूरत बनाने के लिए हमें लोगों का सहारा चाहिए। पैसा हमें सब कुछ नहीं दे सकता।

मेरी गुजारिश है आप सबसे कि अपने परिवार से प्यार करें, उनके साथ वक्त बिताएं, इस बेशकीमती खजाने को बर्बाद ना होने दें। खुद से भी प्यार करें।
